EAGLS Podcast Episode 1- Trendy Macintosh Cafe Hipster Glasses Cartoons

This is it. The moment for which I’ve been yearning during the past week of editing hell; the inaugural episode of the Effort and Guts Labor Squad Podcast. I’m too lazy to make a logo at the moment and I have Japan trip packing to do, so I’ll just throw this one up on the internet as is.

After introducing ourselves, we (Sam and Jamie) start off this terrible idea in internet hijinks by talking about the manga Liar Game by Shinobu Kaitani. After that, we talk about Solanin, an Eisner Award nominated manga by Inio Asano. Enjoy it.

A fine first episode, and mostly well edited EXCEPT

The transition from the opening song to the actual content was rough, and the volume changed too much. Also, your buddy probably needs to work on his radio voice, and you probably want to adjust his levels. I could hardly understand what he was saying. Maybe he needs a better mic. All the content was fine, I thought.

But hey, other than that, I’ve heard worse first episodes (mine, for instance!)
